Case Study
This project comprised of the removal of an extension single storey extension, and replaced with a new single storey extension to the rear of the house, with a significant opening made to the rear wall for entry to the new extension. The removal and erection of a new garage from the rear to the front of the house was also part of the design.
The design of this project comprised of a ground bearing concrete slab foundations, with the extension built from timber kit, with a masonry outer leaf and rendered to match the buildings existing sandstone. The roof was a loos rafter design spanning perpendicular to the building.
The garage comprised of double skin blockwork with timber trusses over and a steel frame to form the door opening.
